Obraestudio obtained the first prize in public competition for the design of new commercial public pavillions in Bogotá. By holding the competition, the IPES government agency (Instituto para la Economica Social) selected the best architectural proposal to construct and locate into public space, small spaces for flowers, food and articles sale as well as public restrooms and storage structures.      

Obraestudio was invited to the modeling Workshop promoted by the Collective “Posiciones de Emergencia” and assited by spanish architects Sol Madridejos and Juan Carlos Sancho from S.M.A.O.

Architects Juan Melo (Obraestudio Executive Director) and Camilo Delgadillo were awarded an honorable mention in 2010 Colombian Architecture Biennale by the design of the tourist information spots in Bogotá. The project was designed as part of a series of tourist information spots owned by the IDT (Tourism District Institute) and constructed with the cooperation of several government agencies.
